I've done a quick 300 miles on the new package and the handling is really amazing. The stock sport suspension is 100% capable with the extra rubber. The ride is slightly crisper as was to be expected with expansion joints but that stuck to the road feeling makes the slightly overresponsive steering with skinny tires feel JUST RIGHT now. Another little interesting tidbit. I have pressures set spot on to 33/36 at 60 degrees. We need to remember that a TiSport is ~200 lbs lighter than a Quad. The day it was 80, car was too firm and suspension was maxed. However, yesterday AM it was 50 degrees out and the car felt PERFECT. I have vehicles where I consider the ideal pressures a median and some like my Evora and now this car, where I consider the chosen pressures to be a max. I am leaning towards 32/35 as being the ideal for this setup unless running laden. We are in the season of greater temperature fluctuations now so pay attention, this is when one learns about the black magic!!
Crazy how sensitive this car is to tire pressure, never owned a car quite so sensitive to minor changes (Maybe I need a Lotus though?).
Have you run very many miles on 32 psi front?
Hows the wear?
I have been running 31/34 for about 2k now and am noticing outside feathering on the front tires. Could be from dirt/rocks/gravel, maybe they're getting chewed at the edges from high speed cornering on really hot asphalt (The last month and a half has been well over 100), but thinking it is tire pressure since I didn't notice it at the recommended pressures previously.
Also, do you notice the tires rolling over slightly in hard turns? Seems like it happens with the wheel at 3/4 turn or more, a little more vibration in the wheel and a low rumble from the tires. Notice it mainly in parking lots or making u-turns. The wife doesn't notice it and thinks it's in my head but...
Looks great btw. That color with those wheels is stunning.

????Thinking about some flaps for winter protection. Anyone done this or have some thoughts. granted 235's won't stick out as much but if those Contis fail the winter test, my snows will be 255's all round.
Bought these aftermarket and had the dealer install... perfect fit... just typed Stelvio mud flaps and these came up.. made quite a difference keeping rockers clean... same site had the rain guards for the windows...
Ebay from Modena. $1950 shipped +$41 duty fee to Fed Ex. ~$2000
Wheels list for $1350 each. Rear PZ$s are ~$415 each and fronts are $309 each. Not bad for a $6700 package if you went to the stealer.
Now, about that leasing concept...............would these wheels add to value of vehicle someday when you put it out on front lawn to sell? Oh that's right , you remove them and sell privately for a net zero if lucky. On the vehicle they add much more in this scenario. Even the pricing guides acknowledge wheel values as an asset.
No they won't add value to you're vehicle. As nice as it would be for value to be added, nobody but you cares that the wheels are different. Just like nobody cares if you spent $10k on aftermarket parts when you go to sell it. Also, you can sell, trade, or purchase your lease outright anytime you want just like if you financed your vehicle.
I disagree and have seen it many times over the years. We are not talking aftermarket wheels here. These are the topshelf OE offering, actually beyond offering. Anyway, as car was at dealer yesterday for recall and everyone including the Maserati manager checked things out and declared it to hands down be the best looking Stelvio they have seen yet.... it is now even more highly desirable for resale... not that I have any intentions. When you bought an XK, XJ etc etc with the $5000+ wheels, it factored into the cost. Equally optioned, a car with the standard 18's will always be less desirable and command less than the exact same vehicle with the "better" wheels. That is why all the pricing guides have a checkmark for premium/oversized wheels.
Well good luck trying to sell yours for $6k more than another comparable one when the time comes. I'd be extremely impressed if you could pull that off.
regardless of pricing guidelines, when selling if something looks right/great to someone they are more inclined to buy it and pay more. if it looks right to lotsa people the seller is in good shape.
I agree with ViscontiVerde 164L* and lost1750GTV. I wanted to have the same wheels (Quad rings) but it was somewhat of a hassle to switch them at the dealership (not worth going into) for the current 20" sport wheels (which are still very nice). However, like everything else, if a potential buyer does not care, well that's it. I do believe that the these wheels improve the overall desirability for most potential buyers.
That's kind of my point. He's claiming the value of the wheel/tire package is $6k+. He goes on to say: "Wheels list for $1350 each. Rear PZ$s are ~$415 each and fronts are $309 each. Not bad for a $6700 package if you went to the stealer.

So if someone is "lucky" they will take the wheels off and sell them for net zero ($2k). So if we use the $2k number, to add any additional value to the vehicle above selling them separately it would need to increase the value by more than $2k (his wording is "much more" so what are we talking, $3k-$6k?). I'm sorry I just don't see these wheels adding $2k+ to the value of the vehicle, especially when, like you said, you can get the wheels for less than $2k.
Keep us updated! I love that look. Buying the dark Quadifoglio wheels may keep me from buying a Quadrifoglio to match my wife. I can't get the Quad out of my mind while saving for my new sports car. Believe it or not, the Quad is competing with a Cayman GTS for my next purchase!!
So I did buy the Cayman GTS, and I love it. So now I want to get the Quadrofoglio wheels for my wife's 2018 Stelvio Ti. For those that have added the quad wheel to the standard Stelvio, has it worked out?
Firm ride with spectacular handling improvement. Do not run too much pressure. Remember, a Ti Sport is 2-300 lbs lighter than a Quad and these vehicles don't do well with excessive pressure. I have found 30/32 to be min I like and 33/35 is max tolerable. 31/33-32/34 is the sweet spot. Would only run a spec rear pressure if LOADED!
I won't hijack a good wheel swap thread but I will say that as ViscontiVerde indicates, low to mid 30's front and rear seem better for all around best Handling in an unloaded or lightly loaded Stelvio IMO.
