Now I know we didn't buy an Alfa for the gas mileage, but....this situation got me wondering.

I recently drove a Sport model loaner that hit 23+mpg for the 150 miles I drove it. I have a Ti Sport, and have been struggling to get 20mpg on every tank. Both have approximately 3500 miles of break-in, both running the same brand premium (92) gas, same commute roads and similar traffic, same driving style and mode (probably even a bit more aggressive on the loaner).

The service advisor thinks the difference in mileage is because I have the 20" rims and wider tires (255/45) vs the 19" on the loaner.

Is this possible? Anyone hitting the 22/23+ club with 20"?

I have a TI sport and I just reached 23 mpg. I have approx 4100 miles and I havent reset the system. Was a bit lower (21-22) until around 3000 miles. I average 41 mph according to the display.

If I drive it within reason, I do and have 20.
