Diesel Owners Fuel Economy´s Corner

Hi to all.

I have a Stelvio Diesel Q4 210hp...
I picked up my car last friday (24/08/18).. The car had some fuel on it. The dealer said that they put some on it.
I rode the car.. the reserve light and warning activate.. and I went to the gas station the "autonomy / mileage" was off nothing. (ok.. no problem)

The strange thing for me was that I filled up the tank only with 52liters of diesel..
its bumped at 50lts and I slowly put 52 almost till the caps.

Isn´t the tank full 64Lts total?

Let me know more of your daily experiences...

Since I´m too "new" on Stelvio matters.

Thank you.

Flavio

I fillep up with 54lts and it still had a red light on reserve.
This time I didn´t forget to reset all the average done.

Lets see the real life average... because factory says 4,7lts/100km combine consumption...

2.2 Diesel Milano Edition

The best I have achieved so far is 62mpg over a full tank. I could have got more but was caught in a couple of traffic jams.

2.2 Diesel Milano Edition

Averaging less than 47mpg although I guess its down to my driving style and heavy right foot. Brochure says 49.5mpg (5.7l per 100km) on the combined cycle

The less I could make was 7,8L/100Km average for the whole tank.
But the average is 8,3L/100Km

Another question... when full tank and filled up... How much km you do till first low level diesel warning??

What wheel size you have?

I have 20" Quad 255 front and 285 rear
Thank you Flavio

Do you use the "start stop" functionality?

I click to "off" directly as the engine start.

Both of you have good average...
I don´t have such "heavy foot" and still the I could do was 7,8L/100km

6 litres / 100 km you are correct. I have 20" tyres all round. On a 600 mile / 960 km run to Scotland this week I only averaged 7.6 / 100. I always switch off the "start / stop" function. Now at 12000 miles / 19000 km with the first service due on Tuesday.
