Front Parking Sensor going off when raining.

When ever it rains and I am idle at a stop sing or red light and no one is in front of me the front parking sensor automatically goes off. I just picked up this car a few weeks ago and it is extremely annoying. Does anyone know how to resolve this? Thank you.

I experienced this in heavy downpours only.
try going into the car settings and reducing the sensitivity of the parking sensors - if that doesn't take care of it, and your license plate isn't close and dripping or something, then it's warranty.

So I went to the dealership and they removed the OE license plate holder, put the bumper hole cover back on. I removed the two white plastic anchors that are in the license plate holder holes. For now I'm putting my license plate on the dash board, but I ordered this tow hook license plate holder, Alfa 4cAlfa Romeo Stelvio Plate Mount Kit ? Alfa9 Supply

It's pricey but has the perfect distance from the collision warning and parking sensor. I will keep this thread posted on fitment etc.

sounds like it may have been a problem even when not raining.

that holder should be good, any with an adjustable position. mine is similar.
the madness non-adjustable unit was a problem.

Garage
I have the Alfa9 front license plate bracket on my 2019 Quadrifoglio. It's well built, fits perfectly (i.e. close to flush against the bumper and does NOT interfere with any sensors), and was VERY easy to install. I highly recommend!

Same here from day one
It seems that the exposed sensor wires are affected by rain or washing the car. I think it is a design flaw
I will try to get the front parking sensors replaced, with better wiring (good luck with that). Make sure (obviously) the front plate edge is not in the way
I typically wipe and dry off the sensors. After a couple of days w/o getting wet they start to work again as expected
