And mine with Ford. I haven't brought in my vehicle yet for any type of service and this recall will be the first so I'm curious what type of experience I'll have...

It will be a mix of stereotypical minivan and pickup truck owners. I think you get my drift.

Looks like it’s for all 2017-2019 Stelvois

Hi ViscontiVerde 164L*,

Please know that the V84 recall pertains to 2018-2019 model year Stelvios and Giulias. It is important to note that some vehicles during these model years may have been identified as not involved in this recall and therefore have been excluded from this recall.

To check whether the recall is associated with your VIN, you can head to https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehic...ls/search.html.

Mark,

I think Anson42 means Alfa Romeo should create their own service center completely separate from the Chrysler brands because many of these Jeep, Chrysler, RAM, Dodge service centers are very behind the times compared to BMW, Mercedes, Audi, etc. I know Chrysler owns Alfa Romeo, but when you pay $56k for a car you expect a certain higher level environment when you take your car into service. Not just sandwiched into a waiting room with 1980s waiting room furniture, a coffee pot that looks like it came from a police station and the soccer mom that drives a dodge caravan.

I would get this done as soon as you can. My 2017 Giulia QV was not included in the recall and I have not parked on a slope. Just over two weeks ago my car stopped in a construction zone with one coned lane. The car would not go into neutral so I could not push it out of the way. I was able to create a lane around me. Alfa sent a tow truck and the driver did not know how to tow the car. The police were on the scene so I used their towing company. It turned out my car showed a half tank of gas and I was out of gas. I was in the road for 2 hours and 25 minutes with the police there for 2 hours.

It was not a lot of fun.

Had the recall done. Quick fix... haven't noticed much of a difference. I'll pay attention when I fill up later and track the mileage readings.

Time for this as last 100 mile of range drops like a stone....usually in 50 miles or less. Always made me chuckle.
