So consumer reports has updated their Stelvio review for 2019. And under the "road test" portion they write:
"The Stelvio races to 60mph from rest in seven seconds."
What are they even driving? Why would I pay to see the rest of that "review"?
12 year old's don't check, not even sure what 7 seconds is, just knows it isnt as cool as 6.
The average CR reader, only takes thier advise from CR. (Traditionally)
The person who's job it is to check that stuff understands grammer like the back of his hand, could give a crap about 0-60 times. Cares about clicks-thrus and participation %'s only. And understands writing incorrect information gets as much attention as correct. The attention is all that matters really. And proper semi-colon use...don't under estimate the importance of a semi-colon. Oh! and hyphens.
Plus they probably tested in "a" on a hot day with cheap gas, and didnt stop the stop watch immediately.
I learned years ago Consumer Reports is a total joke after buying their top recommendation for a washing machine that turned out to be a piece of junk. Stop wasting your time with CR.
Consumer Reports are still reminiscing about the 1986 Honda Accord. Whenever I see anybody refer to their car reviews, I just shake my head. Perfect advice for non-car people with number of cup holders as priority one.

More pablum. While I enjoy their perspective, I make a point of only reading it if it's free. Like in Barnes and Noble or a library or waiting room. Sort of like USA Today except they're more widely available in trash cans or airport lounges and at least absorbent enough for bird cages and puppy puddles.
