Cool Am I the only one without issues?

Bought my stelvio 280HP fully loaded one year ago, had Apple Car Play, sport seats, active suspension, virtually any option I know of. I was concerned with the quality, I'm Italian 25 years in the US but I've memory of these low quality Alfa, we had tons of jokes about them, for this reason I leased, something I usually don't do. Now, 11000 miles later I've to say that it's the lowest troubles car I ever had. And I had many in my long life. Numerous Mercedes, Porsche 911, even Ferrari. To be honest, no problems at all, the car runs like the first day without noises or other issues. Is this just luck?

When I read about people saying "goodbye" I wonder, because all these issues are totally unknown to me. The most perfect car I ever had.

I'm asking not just to brag. One year from now I've to decide if I will keep this car or not. If I don't I will probably buy a Quadrifoglio. I'm thinking to buy a used one after this first experience but is that wise? If not wise, I'll keep mine for years to go. I don't intend to separate myself from a Stelvio. No other SUV drives like this one.

Thank you for your answers

Great to hear and I am with you in that I will be driving a Stelvio for many years to come as well.

Very minor things on mine, software update once left me a check engine light.

Minor problems, less so than my previous Kia and way less than the Subarus before that. I don’t even consider a battery failure on a post 2010 car to be a failure. My only persistent issues are a seatbelt retractor rattle the dealer can’t reproduce, the “infotainment is up to date” per the dealer when it isn’t and the poor durability of the eco-friendly paint. Compared to a Kia which ate a battery a year at $300 not covered under “America’s best warranty”, had BlueTooth which plain didn’t work with common phones at the time it was manufactured and an engine recall for “May catch on fire, we don’t know why” I’ll take minor Alfa gripes.

@Knightofargh you have the blue paint that is now discontinued right?

Not excusing poor quality...and it is crazy beautiful, so can see why you'de want it...just want to be sure.

Think it was discontinued because of the quality...they should have caught that before releasing it though.

Yep. It chips if you look at it funny, having a trucker spray me with a couple hundred pounds of untarped gravel didn’t help.

I’m in the process of getting a new headlight and have a bumper specialist on tap to repaint the worst panel and touch up all the other dings. Then it’s PPF time.

No issues, love mine. Seems like 2018 model had more issues than 2019, which I have.
