Do you have the 2.0 or Quad? I can say that the calibrations and shifting on my 2018 Ti are super smooth. It shifts instantly on heavy acceleration but never hard or rough. For summer when cold, the shifting is briefly a little unsettled but I believe that is really engine-related programming in the warm up cycle. We'll see what it is like when it is truly cold out. Either way, the ZF transmissions are tremendous and the first culprit is likely software on a new car unless you actually have a bad mechanical component.
