Folks
Just purchased a 2022 Quadrafoglio
Upgrading from my prior 2019 2 L Deleo
Seems like this car doesn’t need much done to it. Are there any common cosmetic, external or internal mods that people make. Any other great advice. I love the car this is my third. Alfa

What's a Deleo?

The QV doesn't need any upgrades...however, some of us still make a few mods like wheel spacers (5 or 10mm is most common). I converted from wheel bolts to lugs and nuts. Some carbon fiber pieces here and there. Madness and Alfissimo are you two most common Alfa shops. Are you looking into any performance mods? Any will jeopardize warranty, so it depends on your tolerance for risk.

Congrats on the QV! I am on my third Stelvio and my 23 QV is amazing! I swapped out the chrome badges for nero (black) ones. I also got full front PPF along with the rocker panels and lower rear. Full ceramic coating and front window ceramic tint. I am looking to replace the chrome exhaust tips with black ones.

Wheels are personal preference. I like the 20" ones, the 21" not as much. You can get carbon fiber mirror caps as well as the front grill. Think there's a rear diffuser as well by someone. The start/stop disabler is a must IMO. Small customizations here and there are what most people do.

Thanks so much. The car is marvelous. I finally picked it up. It really is a beast. Just a new experience. So much better than the regular Stelvio. Does anybody worry about rain coming in the hood vents. My car will spend some time out of the garage for sure,

I wish it had Apple CarPlay remote
Also, has anyone put on a different throaty exhaust

Looks great and they definitely are beasts! Cool other carbon fiber upgrades. Did you replace the hood vents with carbon fiber ones? I would not worry about rain getting in the hood vents. My QV is outdoors 95% of the time and I live in the northeast. There are different exhaust options out there. Madness and Alfissimo sell them, but I think the stock sounds great. I am not a fan of the chrome exhaust tips so eventually want to replace them with dark carbon fiber ones. Good luck with it!

Tons of external carbon fiber was put on by the prior owner. Including the hood vents. I’m going to take the carbon fiber off of the doorhandles. I think that’s excessive. The rest is tolerable. I’m gonna wait before I do any real mods to it I was just curious. The car is absolutely wonderful to drive. I look forward to hearing more on the forums. My first real sports car was an Alfa spider Veloce

Congrats on the new Quadrafoglio! Sounds like you're a fan of Alfa Romeo. As for mods, some folks like to personalize with cosmetic tweaks or even performance upgrades. It all depends on your taste and what you're looking to enhance. Enjoy your new ride!

I’d be shocked if they ever noticed, and your warranty can only be denied if they can demonstrate that a specific modification contributed to a specific failure. They can’t just generally void your warranty.

Full disclosure, I don’t have one, I’m happy to just push the button to deactivate S/S after I start the car. It’s so reflexive, 1/2 the time I reach for the button I find I’ve already pushed it.

My car is parked outdoors all the time, rain goes into the engine bay and no issues, I'm actually shocked how little the engine bay gets dirty considering those grills!
Beautiful car, I agree with you that door handles are a little much, love the rear view mirror covers with that design!

It really is a beast, the more I drive it the more I love my QV, I just did a long trip (I'll create a post for it soon) and it is absolutely a long trip dream machine, sprints to 120-130 MPH are nothing to it!

the number of radiators this car has helps to isolate the engine bay from the elements and dust/dirt that would normally come in through the front.

The start/stop eliminator is a must for me because my memory sucks and I always forget to hit the button. Also the easiest 5 minute mod that you could pull out in 2 minutes if you wanted. Had it on my first Quad and just ordered another within 24 hours of buying my new one.

Mine’s the same color, and I assume the same specs as yours. I like Alfa phone dial wheels, but not so much the 21” ones on our Stelvios. And there are few aftermarket 21” wheels out there. I’d have preferred 20”s, but I got mine second hand, along with eight virtually brand new winter and summer tires.

Only two visible exterior mods on mine: I had the silver “V” in place of the black one, and added a 3d cloverleaf the same size, and adjacent to the “Q4” script on the rear.

The carbon fiber lust simply baffles me. Our interior is slathered in it, and for what reason? To “save” one pound, maybe? But add the sunroof, and how many pounds?

The “carbon fiber” accessories visible on the vast majority of vehicles are just decals on plastic, and by now they’ve really perfected the resemblance. It’s made genuine carbon fiber that’s visible seem tacky by association. To me, anyway.
