Alfa Romeo Canada has announced pricing for their first performance-minded SUV and the 2018 Stelvio Quadrifoglio will start at $95,000 when it goes on sale in the second quarter of this year.

A substantial increase over the regular Stelvio and Ti variant, but what you’ll be getting is the culmination of Alfa Romeo engineering in a mid-size SUV package. Featuring a direction-injection 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V6 engine delivering 505-horsepower and 43 lb-ft of torque, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio stands above rivals like the 400-hp Porsche Macan Turbo.

Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SUV can rocket itself from 0-60 mph in around 3.9 seconds and top out at 176 mph. That’s fast enough to earn it the title of “fastest SUV” at the Nürburgring track with a lap time of 7 minute and 51.7 seconds.

What’s more, the all-wheel-drive Quadrifoglio model is equipped with performance enhancing upgrades. There’s the torque vectoring differential, carbon-fibre drive shaft¸ four-mode Alfa DNA Pro selector, adaptive suspension, a set of ceramic six-piston Brembo front brakes and carbon fibre trim. There’s even a cylinder-deactivation system if “ever you feel compelled to want to save on fuel,” says auto123.

Topped off with the iconic Quadrifoglio four-leaf clover badge, Tim Kuniskis, Head of Alfa Romeo said the Stelvio Quadrifoglio will not disappoint “-whether being driven on the Nürburgring or on roads across North America.”

Still can't get inventory of Giulia Quads, I can't imagine Canada is going to get any significant numbers of Stelvio Quads anytime soon.
I want one bad but will wait for the pricing to drop and issues to be ironed out.
I wonder what that translates to for US pricing. I'm sure it's not as simple as simply converting currency - but probably not too far off, that's approx $75K US at today's rate.

I'm in love with my TI Sport, but I am 100% anticipating enormous jealousy when I finally see one of these in the flesh.
It appears that the US pricing starts at $79,995 per the Alfa Romeo USA website.

Is that MSRP? I am sure the dealers will have a big markup.
Is that MSRP?
I am going to give a loaded Ti Sport a few years worth of my time and then contemplate that upgrade if I want MORE!
