Considering pulling the trigger on a lease of a Stelvio and wanted to get some feedback from anyone that bought/leased from Westbury. Looking for overall experience and ideas on pricing/deals. Any info would be appreciated!
I did not leased it. I bought the car. but they gave me really good price.
I was originally looking at X3 or XC60. and got prices for those before I drove alfa and then decided to go with alfa.
When i went called to any dealer or visited any of them I told all of them that i am looking at all the cars in this segment and trying to get the best deal for what I like.
I live in CT. I called 2 dealers here in CT, and got medioker discount in the price. THen I started looking online at what other near by states have in inventory and started calling them up. I called Brown's alfa first and got really lucky to get a discount of 8200 on the window price tag of 50040, which included the 2000 rebates.(6200 + 2000). (Rebates are taken off after the taxes are added. and if you get rebates of 2000 then you dont get the special promotional APR. we are on 4.99%) That comes to 16% discount off the sticker. So I took that price and went back to the dealer in CT and they said they can not match it. They came close to 6500 discount, and they did not have the car that I wanted anyway. So i looked westbury stock online and they have almost more than 40 just TI Sports. So i got excited and gave them a call. Will Esteves (Salesman) talked to me and after talking to the sales manager (Cammy) he called me back saying any car on the lot we pick they will match the discount of 8200.
So That was a good start and then I went there personally after driving 80 miles, and told them which car I wanted and told them I am here to drive the car home today so give me your best deal.
They kept telling me that this is the best they got.
Then We kept pushing for the same 16% for the higher priced car that we wanted compare to original sticker of 50040.
Then the general manager came out with another price and at last he even went down another 300 as a final price. Once we knew that was the final price they could give us then we threw a final curve ball of giving us all weather floor mat including in that price. And they agreed. (we have been successful in this trick in 3 of my car purchase)
Ended up getting car with the sticker of 53740 and 8900 discount.

We gave up Navigation for the clover rims and Leather dashboard for only 500$ difference.
Note : That leather dash makes so much difference in the luxurious feeling of the car.

now you can negotiate this first, then decide if you want to lease of that number or finance it, they will provide you the #s (Down payments, monthly , taxes fees, regs.) for lease for 10K,12K,15K / 24 or 36 mo. / and give you the residual value to purchase at the end of the lease(Dont forget to add sales tax on that purchase value). You can add all that #s and see which one works for you. I think 3000 down with 10K miles for 24 months worked the best. but that can change.

Finance guy Ken is nice too. He will mention different warranty options. I don't live in NY where too many pot holes are there that can damage my clover rims but for ppl live in NY you might want to ask around if 4 wheel an tire warranty for 1800 is worth it or not?

They filled too much air in the car all the way up to 40 on all 4. I sensed it right away in 1/2 mile and changed it next morning.
I got my car on 11th. they shipped my mats yesterday since they did not have it in stock. But I stayed on top of them until they did via phone call and email. They also gave me that in writing on the original contract.

After joining this forum, I realised that all the new car owner should get the production date, delivery date to them and the list of all the recalls that have performed on the car at the time of delivery so they can keep all the proofs of all work done. So you might want to do that. I wonder if I call them back would they will give me that info or not.

Good luck to you for your new Stelvio.

BTW Car drives fantastic. I am loving it.

Thank you for the info Pinu! I appreciate all of your feedback! I was laughing at the all weather floor mats. I have bought/leased many cars through the years and have made a game out of making sure to get the mats thrown in on the deal...so far I’m batting a thousand! ?

I did also
I leased a 2018 Stelvio Ti. I had a pretty good experience with them. I worked with Matt and the Manager Mike and everything went pretty smooth. The dealership is a little crazy so be prepared. One problem was when I picked up my car and they were going over it with me I caught the tire pressures were at 50psi. Unfortunately they had to adjust them in 90 degree heat. The only thing I can say is the service department is not so good. Very hard to get an appointment and loaner. Also they don’t have there own Alfa service it’s shared with Westbury Jeep and it’s a nightmare. Plus I bought my car in when I had problems with the electronics and they damaged my car. They had to send it to the body shop and I waited about a month for it to be fixed due to the service department loosing the rear bumper that they had to order. So if you don’t care about a crappy service department then Westbury Alfa was good to deal with.

Boneman- thanks for the info! Would you mind sharing any of the details of the lease you obtained? I’m trying to get an idea of what would constitute a “good deal”. Any info is appreciated!

I leased from them last September, they were running good deals I obtained a TI Sport with winter package, collision mitigation, no run flats, and blind spot monitoring. I put down tax, first, dmv, and bank fee came to 2,700 and 412 a month for 24 months the sticker was 48. I had a good experience and for 412 a month I thought it was a good deal.

My package without the leather dash. Dash nice but I rarely touch the dash to feel the surface....but I know what you mean. Highest maintenance piece of leather in the car as well.
