Never heard that before, not here, in the giulia forum, or in tests. More apparent lean because of sitting higher is the usual giulia owner comment/complaint.

The actual difference in handling (vs high speed acceleration) is pretty minimal. Someone had also posted similar results with q2/q4/stelvio from an Italian magazine - q4 stelvio was faster than rwd giulia. But close enough that one could consider it tires or the day.

Doesn't much matter on the 4cyl, but the involvement in the giulia is often enough not a good thing (recent wall report on that forum), enough so that most suggest using Q instead of R, even for track days.
Can't much argue with anyone's sense of fashion, but springs reduce the gap and lean on both, and SQ anti roll bars on a 4 cyl would make that much less of an issue. Stiffer suspension on sq than gq.
Still, if you like to get seriously sideways, gq is a better toy. (Insert favorite dirty Harry quote here)
