I have a 17’ Stelvio Q4. The when the auto start/stop is disabled (button illuminated) the car still partially ‘shuts down’, and lowers the suspension. Is this normal? It’s incredibly annoying as it slows my ability to drive between lights.
2018 is the first year of the Stelvio. What do you mean partially shuts down? Also, I'm not aware of a height adjustable suspension on this vehicle, can you clarify?
I mean the engine lowers it’s RPMs further than it should, like it wants to go into stop mode. And the Q4 has adjustable suspension. The front end lowers when it goes into ‘stop mode’
Are you sure ? ....
Never heard about hight adjustable suspension on the giulia/stelvio, just electronic shocks on giulia, and FSD dampers on Stelvio....
(and of course the adjustable front spoiler)
Non of these give hight adjustment though.....
I'm pretty sure there is an option called Active Suspension or something like that. But I've never actually seen one with it, so I'm not sure how common it is.
The front end lowers at least two inches when at a stop. About a second after the stop is complete. Is there some other feature that might be messing with it? Is there a brake pedal hold assist or something?
I just installed the start/stop deactivator that I received from Alfissimo. Took 2 minutes to install. Haven't driven the car yet but thankful that there is a solution to this pain in the neck problem.
Can you give a quick summary of what the installation entails? If it works I'll definitely be doing this.
