Buying Stelvio q with celtic tune?

Removal is not too hard, just labor intensive. If he just did the tune, perhaps the tune has a warranty? I'd try it first and if it works (and there's some type of guarantee), why change it?

As daveg72 said, there's two ECU, next to each other against the firewall, circles in yellow.

okej, so you need to remove the ECU:s to remove the tuning? i dont wanna risk anything on the car or the engine. But perhaps the car has no problem dealing with the extra power?
Yes, ECUs need to come off and be sent to Celtic to be brought back to factory programming.

The QV should be able to handle the extra power, I've had my JB4 for 30k miles without any issues...depending on how Celtic programmed the ECUs they might make more power than my JB4, but the QV's engine is pretty solid.

Beware a tune that can't be serviced. I had a Tork tune and stuffed turbo on my 2017 Fiat124 Spider and the local dealer said they could not service it.
No dealer is going to accept servicing a vehicle with an aftermarket tune. Factory parameters have been changed so why would they warranty any work? Those of us that tune us vehicles take the risk on our own, the best we can do (if something breaks) is remove the tune and pray they don't go looking for a reason to deny the repair under warranty.
