He doesn't show anything useful. In one frame the cluster is in place, and the next frame it is sitting on the passenger seat.you may have already watched this?

This one is a little more helpful. Around the 8 minute mark he is going through all the gyrations I tried. Finally, he cuts away, and comes back with it loosened.you may have already watched this?

It is a very tricky operation, one where you have to pull the cluster out hard but carefully.Trying to remove the instrument cluster.
I have removed the steering wheel trim, and the small trim piece below the cluster.
I have removed the two torx screws holding the bottom of the cluster.
Supposedly it is now possible to pop out the cluster by pulling on it to unlatch the top two clips.
I have tried a number of ways, pulling very hard sometimes and it won't come out.
I think I was able to release the left clip, but not the right one.
It is very difficult to get a good grip to pull very hard, and I could not find anywhere to get a plastic pry bar in to help.
Any ideas or suggestions?
yeah, the better part is him showing the back of the cluster, so one can see what it looks like, to see if there's anything that might be snagging? He doesn't show anything useful. In one frame the cluster is in place, and the next frame it is sitting on the passenger seat.
Tried this. Got a pretty good grip and leverage. Applied a lot of pressure but couldn't free it. Very frustrating. It is a very tricky operation, one where you have to pull the cluster out hard but carefully.

In this picture, I have marked with circles the approximate area where the clips are for your information. You cannot see them or touch them until the cluster is out. I pulled the left side first as I had more room to do it. I used a flat screwdriver to help me. The "arrows" point to the place where I also use the same screwdriver to help with the right side.
I inserted the tip of the screwdriver in between the arrows, put my finger behind the screwdriver to create leverage (I hope that is the right word) and pull the cluster out of that clip. Hope this helps, good luck.
I understand, the first time it really feels like your going to break it. There's really only two clips holding it VERY tight.Tried this. Got a pretty good grip and leverage. Applied a lot of pressure but couldn't free it. Very frustrating.
