I have that too (at least mine is more a squeaking sound). It immediately stops if I turn off the air re-circulation (i.e, have the A or M both unlit). Its actually at the dealer right now getting the recalls done. I have them looking at this too. I'll respond with what they say.

Creaking sounds

I haven't had any issues with creaking sounds. I haven't had any issues with my Stelvio. My build date is 10/17. You can find the build date on the driver side door frame, "Date of MFR".

My recalls were completed a couple of days ago. Even though they didn't hear the noise in the vents is seems to have stopped completely now. They say it may have been fixed in "one of the several updates" they did but couldn't get more specific than just the 2 recall fixes. I also can no longer reproduce my speaker crackling (but they couldn't either of course). So I guess its all good...
