Sooooo...I let my daughter borrow my Quad and she curbed a wheel pretty badly. Anyone know where I can source the dark grey wheel paint for repair?

First and Foremost check it for cracks ... SAFETY FIRST right? If the damage is paint I'm sure you can find some touch up or at the extreme have it powder coated but if its abrasively rubbed then paint wont alone wont cover it. Might help to post a picture or two.

Take it to a shop.

If only to have them give you the paint match. There are 85 billion shades of silver grey. I know for the stupid silver insert in the rear bumper I was told it would have to be a custom mix, so I decided to hold off and just get it wrapped instead..now I need to figure out if I want black or body color. Also found a company making an actual metal insert...might be cool...

With a wheel impact that does visual damge, a lot of issues can happen, including changing the balance of the wheel. Best to get it checked out, inspected for roundness, etc.

Unless it's just superficial curb rash....wouldn't worry about getting it inspected then. Still body shop or wheel repair will probably give you the best match at touch up paint. Good luck.

Aliexpress..never ordered from them, know nothing about the company. There is an ebay listing too, looks like the same company.

The pictures look good.....doesn't appear to add any protection though, just looks.
Yeah, aliexpress can be a crap shoot. I have had a mixture of luck buying stuff from the companies that use them. It is all cheap Chinese stuff... Just some I better quality than others.

After looking at ig, with the price. It may not offer real protection (or it might), but it something inexpensive to bolt on to avoid damaging the OEM skid plate.

That was my assessment too.

Kinda leaning towards wrapping it in white to match the paint. Wrap is cheap, just redo it if it gets damaged again...

All the off roading, no damage. Freaking untrimmed branch on a bush in a parking lot scratched the silver paint off and gouged the plastic in a small section. Couldn't see the branch on the camera. Grrr....

Hi.

Did you refurb / repair your wheel?
Do you have or can tell me the color code for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio darker wheel?
I have a scratch on the rear one. I want to repair it. (A new wheel is too expensive for only a cosmetic paint damage.

Thank you.

Flavio
