3 things that I would like to point out that can be beneficial to anyone attempting to install this:

1) There is a 3rd screw located behind the 6 o'clock spoke that was not mentioned on another DIY
2) If you remove and disconnect the airbag it frees up a lot of space and anxiety when trying to remove and reinstall the trim bezel
3) Be super careful how you reinstall the plugs for the steering wheel controls as the pins are fully exposed and when you reinsert the plug they can become damaged and impossible to repair.

pricing from local dealer

I had mine done at the Dealership and parts and labour was like $150.

Looks awesome. Simple little mod that just increases that grin everytime I open the door
Pricing is higher in the People's Republic of California.

Part $66.20 plus $150.00 for labor. = $216.20 plus tax.

I did it myself and it was pretty easy (I used to install car audio systems so I'm comfortable taking interiors apart). Took an hour because my neighbor kept bugging me otherwise I could have had it done in 20 minutes.

Well, my dealer is not having a good week with my car.

When the tech was installing the new red start/stop button a clip broke. Special order part finally came in this morning.

Now with the new red start/stop button, none of the functions on the steering wheel work. Asked me if I had this problem before...? ****, no!
So now the dealer has opened up a case with Alfa Care to see what the problem could be. They even swapped steering wheels from another Stelvio and that steering wheel functions didn't work on that one either.

Well...I’m not driving to SD to have mine installed, that’s for sure.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Thinking about having Rusnak in Pasadena do it next week. Crossing my fingers.

Sorry to hear that. Could be a number of different things, pinched wire, broken connector, blown fuse, etc. I'm sure they will figure it out.

blown fuse?

Thx, I called the dealer about the possibility of a blown fuse. Apparently that was one of the first things the tech checked. I can't stand being without my Stelvio.... I do have some really bad luck in life sometimes.

Look up the phrase "Bad luck" in the dictionary. My picture is in it.

They did not give you a loaner after that?

If not, that is poor form on behalf of the dealer.
Got a car from the dealer, so no worries there. I had dropped it off for the recall, too and a loaner car is part of FCA's recall program.
Just sent a PM to Alfa Tech. He might have some suggestions...

Given my absolute fear of touching anything near the airbag, had the guys at Madness install it on Friday.

Great job, quick turnaround and looks fantastic!

Need to take a pic and post...but wanted to give them props for a job well done.

Angel I think the problem with the stick on covers is at night you can not see the lighting in the button. Probably not a impossible thing to find and start it but one thing to think of.

Mine was $150 Canadian parts and labour to have it installed at the dealer
