My car comes back tomorrow. They tested the fuel pump and said it seemed fine. They are cleaning out all the fuel lines, thinking debris may have been in there from the manufacturing process. We’ll see . . .

Got my Giulia QV back on Tuesday with a new fuel pump after the Service Electronic Throttle CEL.

Friday night the lights on auto would not shut off after I parked the car.

Today I left home and the Service Aero .... CEL came on and then less than an hour later the Service Electronic Throttle CEL came on and the car died in the middle of the road in a construction zone coned off for one lane. The car would not go in park and the second tow truck was able to tow the car to the dealer. The tow truck sent by Alfa had no clue what to do. Two hours and 25 minutes stuck in the middle of the road. I was able to move the big cones around to create a lane for cars to go around me.

Update #4
Brought it in first thing this morning.Code came up Low Boost Pressure. It was weird Engine light was on all weekend until I filled the tank up. Started it up and check engine light disappeared and went back into dynamic mode. Got on it on a long stretch and was fine until I slowed down to a stop sign and check engine light and Electronic Throttle control warning came back on. I really hope they fix it this time.

Update #5
Code came up Low Boost Pressure
They had to change:
1) Surge-Solenoid
2) ECM Module
Let's hope this corrects the problem.

Finally solved:sold the vehicle

I have admitted defeat and sold mine due to this issue. It may seem trite, but i saw no end in sight, I may have persevered, but my dealer was so absolutely dreadful it simply was not worth the heartache. I think when I owned Alfa’s in my 20’s I was more circumspect, now however, not so much, it can be the greatest car in the world but if it does not work it’s not much use.
For those still suffering with this, mine was temporarily cured by changing some pins in the electrical connector. This was checked by the dealer by, “sticking some wires in it” until they found faulty ones, which they replaced. Here is an idea, how about just changing the entire connector?!. Apparently all the wiring is inter connected, and where it joins, these male and female connectors can become loose and fail. My electrical problems migrated to loosing the forward collision avoidance, and rear lights???! They are all connected.
So for those still suffering, mention these connections to the dealer, it’s a common fault. Best of luck. I miss my car already, but I don’t miss the feeling every time I drive of whether I am going to make it to my destination or not.

That is awful @bigred28. Incredible that the dealer mentioned it was ready and then the car goes limp on you! I hope @alfacares can help. You cannot recover your lost time, but hopefully rental charges, etc. can be reimbursed.

UPDATE:
It seems like my problem went away on its own, or possibly in response to the last fix that Alfa did and it just took a few days to take effect. Either way, I haven't had any error codes or alerts in a month, which is the longest the car has not had any (keeping in mind I've only had the car for 2 months).

Not to be a wet blanket, but mine had fairly long periods between intervals. When it came on after I first brought it in, I was told the same thing (takes time, etc). However the problem came back after a couple weeks. When they finally replaced the fuel pump, I haven’t seen the dreaded warning even once.

First of all...Thanks to all those before that have commented. I am reviving this old thread as this just happened to us and I want to share with the community as well. We have a 2018 Ti with about 8,500 miles on it now. Have owned for about 15 months. Drove the grandson home and as we were entering the freeway, using about 1/2 throttle, the Stelvio lost all power and the Service Electronic Throttle Control error showed up in the middle screen, along with check engine light. This triggered some type of limp-home mode as we could make some forward momentum with less than half throttle, but anything more than half throttle actually slowed the Stevio. We were doing between 40-50 mph on a 70 mph freeway in DFW...needless to say it was not comforting to my better half, Who, reminded me several times over the next 20 minutes it took to get home...how she had wanted just a nice Honda or Toyota and how the Stelvio was MY idea.

Needless to say, I will be limping it into the dealer tomorrow. Thumbing a ride back to work as there are no loaner cars available.

Not putting a very good foot forward on this one Alfa. Everyone at work will see the Alfa in the morning, as it will be the first time the Alfa is being taken to work...it will make a splash for sure. And then I will ask if anyone wants to get a lunch and give me a ride back to work from the dealer.

Overall, I am still trying to keep a positive attitude, but the chances of this passing the Buy-It-at-end-of-Lease are quickly diminishing.

Will update as I hear back from dealer.
