I agree with @jttar, It seems to me that I had a front end sensor get covered in snow a year ago when I was doing snow “training” in my Stelvio on a deserted parking lot with about 11 inches of snow, and I think it did cause some light to turn on in the center dash screen, but I can’t remember which warning light it was. I do recall that it was temporary and next time I drove it was normal.

So, ice likely does affect a warning light and system failure, for that time its iced. :smile
