Front radar question

Alfa theft is performed by thieves pulling the front radar unit out of the bumper plugging into the can bus and issuing codes to unlock the door. Then they go in they plug into the OBD2. Run some other software and simulate the key this unlocks the engine block and starts the car. They will then drive off. There are several videos out there about them being stolen in the UK. We had one stolen in Chicago in October 2025 that we had for 6 weeks. It was a 2018. It actually was on the news because they used in a robbery in Elmhurst IL and there was a high-speed chase with the car, they used a dart to track the car during a high speed chase then back off they found the guys but then they tried to ram the police car. It became a total wreck it was upsetting to watch the whole thing. But we didn't have any kind of tracking so we couldn't determine where the car was other than they used my gas card on the south side for about six transactions. Do a Google search and you will see a couple of videos they do it right in broad daylight It's pretty quick. I don't know if it was fixed in future years I do have a 2022 now. But I also picked up a steering wheel to brake pedal lock mechanism to provide some extra assurance to myself. I do have guardian tracking as well.
