So I was on a phone call one morning this past week with a suite of attorneys. We are in the final weeks of merging with another company to form a very large publicly traded company, so as you'd imagine the discussions can get a bit testy given the competing equities.

I parked, popped in my apple airpod and transferred the call over, and jumped out of the vehicle to head into my office on the 4th floor of our building. A few minutes later a co-worker of mine, who knows I own the only Stelvio at work, came by my office to say there were people yelling inside my car. She said it was pretty loud, but didn't want to approach the car because people were yelling.

Hmm - I thought maybe I forgot to turn the car off, and the radio was running??

So I headed back to the car, and sure enough my phone call was still going inside (and yep, pretty loudly), I guess it never dropped? It was still playing in my airpod as well, uninterrupted. And another co-worker was standing alongside my vehicle, probably amused by the whole thing.

Have to remember to check on this next time ....

Crazy if you took your keys after powering down it (a/v) would theoretically never still have power. My Stella is my rolling phone booth and private place but I usually terminate the call (Android KeyOne BlackBerry) and make a new call inside. Wouldn't want my wife hearing me talk to my girlfriend (JUST KIDDING) but can't be too careful with casual comments generally. Others?

Hello michaelk,

We generally only reach out when a customer is having trouble, but this is hilarious. If you have any inquiries at all, do not hesitate to connect with us. Have a great week!

The funny thing is this, if you are into a call and you stop the car and close the doors with remote the connection remain active into the car, only if you disable the Bluetooth connection the system shutdown and the car going to sleep

Same thing happened to me and the only way I could “turn the car off” was to hang up on the call. Of course my call did not involve a billion dollar merger. Lol.

me too

Yup - I've had the same experience numerous times. Vehicle is off, but call continues. Had mine in for the recall on the water incursion issue, and asked them about it.
My service advisor told me that yes this is an issue, and no fix on the way. Guess we just have to make sure to end our calls before getting out - or
switching modes before leaving.

Yep, I've had a couple of times where I've switched modes and continue my call on my handset. Then about 15 minutes later I hear a noise in my garage and its my car radio blasting. I seem to have a problem shutting the car completely off until I actually finish the call and hang up the phone from the infotainment system.
