I was discussing this with my daughter (age 19)...trying to impress upon her the desire, no, the REQUIREMENT that anything with beauty, grace, or speed (or all 3) deserves a feminine name.

She came up with "gelato" and it stuck.

No, but my wife did. She said, "oh, so that is your new Italian girlfriend, huh?" "Ok, her name is Stella." It stuck.

That is why I think of 'brother' Stelvio and 'sister' Giulia...

In that case, I guess my "Stella" is gender-fluid (or is it ambiguous, or....wait, I just need to ask my kids for the correct word here).

Haha, I think Stella is fine, very appropriate since it is 'stellar' vehicle (sorry...)
