I just ordered a 2018 Stelvio Ti AWD today in Alfa White with red interior and red brake calipers. I also got the Ti Sport Performance Package which comes with the limited slip differential and the active suspension (I didn't even know this package existed since it does not show it on the Alfa Romeo USA website when you build it). For those of you who have been asking about the Apple Car Play, it is now available to order. You will also have to order the Google Android Auto and the cost for both is $200. I'm very excited to be part of the Stelvio family and can't wait to get mine in 4 months. Hopefully it will be sooner!!!

Congrats! Can you get a confirm from your dealer whether Car Play is just the hardware or will it actually have the software and be fully functional when they deliver your vehicle?
Congrats on your order, welcome to the forum!
spoty/lsd/active suspension
white with red, very nice.
My Stelvio will have the Apple Carplay hardware and software and will be fully functional when I get it. It is listed on my order confirmation and I made sure it was. The dealership I ordered my car from had an Alfa Romeo representative visit them yesterday and they discussed CarPlay. According to my dealership, Alfa said that some of the cars that were built before December 14 were missing the wiring and/or software for the CarPlay. They told them to test all their cars they have in stock by plugging in an Apple phone and see if the CarPlay comes on the screen. If the car is missing the CarPlay wiring, then they will not be able to get a software update to get it. All the cars being made now should come with it if the dealership asks for them to add it. Hope this helps.
Thank you for all the warm welcomes!
Excellent + thanks for your contribution already. Good to know you!
Hi Lisa. Good things come to those who wait. You have two options many of us wish we had! Welcome to the club!
Welcome and congrats on your Stelvio

Thanks! Any chance you inquired about the convenience package (when you ordered) or saw it as an option to choose? It has gesture tailgate and a few other features I believe.
Did you actually see a car in their stock with functioning Car Play? But I guess if a build takes 4 months than based on the December 7 or 14th (two different dates have been bounced around) we will need to wait until the end of March minimally to actually see one. Will definitely be waiting to here from you when you take delivery.

The only convenience package they offered included a 115V Auxiliary Power Outlet, Cargo Comp Adjustable Rail System and a Cargo Net. I did not get it. The system did not show any options about adding the gesture tailgate. I also did not see how the CarPlay functions. None of the Stelvios they had in stock had it and that’s why I decided to order one instead. Luckily I have 4 months left on my Evoque lease so I am able to wait to get it.

Thanks, yes I saw that one. There is a gesture tail gate coming out and I believe some other thing in that package. Its another "late availability". I don't think any dealership has a functioning Car Play Stelvio right now, based on the build dates that have been supplied (by random dealerships, nothing directly from Alfa) we shouldn't see on until late March at the earliest.

On a different note, so many "former" Evoque owners..curious to hear why people are dumping them or opting not to renew a lease on a new one? Anyone want to share comparisions/complaints? You can PM me so we don't take the topic off subject..thanks..

I have not been overly happy with the performance of the Evoque not to mention the service. The car hesitates when I step on the gas and sometimes when I put the car in drive I hear a huge clunk. Also, the ECO doesn’t work on my car. Worked for a month when I got it. I took it in for them to look at and they only charged the second battery that it works off of instead of replacing it which I asked them to do. It worked again for about 1 month and stopped working again. I gave up and decided to live without it. Anyway my intention was to get the new Range Rover Velar but changed my mind after taking the Stevlio for a test drive. I completely fell in love with the way the Stelvio drives and of course how fast it is. I didn’t feel like I was driving a tank anymore like I do with the Evoque. Also a lot of the standard features that come on the Stelvio you have to pay extra for on the RR. What sealed the deal for me is when the dealership Rick Case Alfa Romeo told me they double the powertrain warranty on the cars they sell. I will now get 8 years, 100,000 miles warranty.

Hi Lisa,

Congratulations! You'll love owning/driving the car!!

When you have a moment, can you break down all the options/pricing and final MSRP on the Stelvio you ordered?
What type of discount did you get off the MSRP?

Thx!

Lisa,
You did very well, especially since the dealer you ordered the car from included a 8 year/100,000 mile warranty on the car!
