I let someone drive my stelvio for the day..

And I’m pretty sure I just introduced them to the Alfa brand and they are in love. I carpool with one of my coworkers to work everyday as I get an incentive to do so from work. On Friday I slipt in the parking lot ;(**** ice) and fractured my elbow (**** ICE). Obviously I couldn’t drive myself to the ER so my co worker had to do it. He absolute loves the Stelvio.. I think I would have loved to discuss if I wasn’t in excruciating pain. He had to take it back to my house for me obviously. His lease for his Q5 is coming up and I think he just might look at getting a Stelvio instead. He keeps asking to drive it.

Sorry about your accidental injury-- good thing we have the ZF 8-speed vs. manual transmission! Once you actually get into the vehicle Q4 feels solid and secure on ice and snow. The worst part is getting INTO the vehicle.

When you consider price, performance, value, and unique personality + interior space and versatility, I am surprised they aren't everywhere. Seriously. I have sent a few people to the dealership as referrals + any spiff offered I would want to go to the charity of choice (my motives are pure/can't be bought).
Hopefully you will have a fast recovery.

I've actually seen five total now! 3 in NJ and 2 in NYC. Two grey, one red and two white. Husband actually saw the red one on Rt 80 in Morris County NJ (sent me the pic) - anyone one from the forum? My husband is not a big car guy but remarked what a nice looking SUV (he did test drive it with me but hadn't seen one actually on the road himself)

depending on the dates, there's a slim chance it was me. I was in the city a few times just after new years, and did a passenger run to Newark airport in December. Usually try to avoid any reason for going to NYC and just NJ in general :wink

The red sighting was just yesterday.. my husband was coming home from work and snapped a photo for me sitting in the usual traffic home. Beautiful sunset behind it.. NJ plates small star (possibly Dallas cowboys?) sticker or magnet to the left of the rear license plate..

Its not a TI sport, has the 19 inch round style spoke wheels.
that's a pretty tough way to get someone to try your car.
ouch.
That's a risky thing to do when you are in pain and heading to the hospital. The Stelvio drives so great it's hard to resist the urge to take the long way.

Hope you feel better.
