Whenever I receive an SMS message on my iphone over bluetooth and I choose to have it read out loud to me the volume is super loud.. I've tried changing the volume on my phone but it doesn't seem to lower the volume. Has anyone else had this issue.. if so how did you fix it?

I believe you can adjust the volume on the infotainment volume adjuster (on the steering wheel or at the center console) during playback.

I forgot to mention I also turned the volume down on the infotainment to 1 and the sms still was read at max volume

Did you turn it down while it was playing? I think that's the trick - you have to actually adjust the volume downward while it's reading it aloud.

verified - raise/lower the volume with knob WHILE message is playing back.

Confirmed as well.. looks like the min volume is 15
