JB4 piggyback tune
wouldn't an axleback deliver pops and bangs if the mid pipes were replaced?Alfismo knows these tunes really well and we all are limited by the smallish turbo that the cars came with. But yea, JB4, any 70mm exhaust setup with no resonators and a highflow/no cat. which if you are into pops and bangs you probably should not have a cat. I've heard fancy intakes do not get you much except CEL's.
Does anything like that even exists for the AR engine?Remember its a 2.0l engine. At 330 hp with a tune and exhaust thats pretty good. I dont know of any with more power stock unless they are part of a hybrid setup. A larger Turbo would take longer to spool up unless a dual scroll such as some of the BMW's.
EuroComplusion Stage 3 or JB4 which one has been proven to be better/faster?See my threads on the topic. I am EC Phase 2.
There's at least one guy (Kozak) on the Guilia forums that has a hybrid turbo. It uses the Alfa exhaust-side housing, and the intake side off a Focus RS (2.3L) in a hybrid setup. It's good for about +50 HP, especially up top where our stock turbo gets weak. But for purchase, I only heard of a German company that has an offering.Does anything like that even exists for the AR engine?
Incase it is helpful to you, I am on a 2.0 Stelvio tuning journey also. I am trying to do as best testing as I can. Here is a thread where I recently tested EC phase 2 without physical mods, trying to control for temperature and density altitude:EuroComplusion Stage 3 or JB4 which one has been proven to be better/faster?

Yup Audi s3 2.0l at 306bp and drives very well with increased boost and e85 mix.BMW has a stock 301hp 2.0
MB has a stock 382hp 2.0
I remain frustrated that Ford did not refine the Focus RS. It had real potential, as well.Yup Audi s3 2.0l at 306bp and drives very well with increased boost and e85 mix.
Our turbo is dual scroll and ive seen the hybrids spooling very nicely
I wasn't, my Focus RS was a blast, it didn't have potential, it was potential realized and it was amazing for the 3 years I had it, but it just wasnt the right car for my life at the moment and that's part of how I wound up in a Stelvio.I remain frustrated that Ford did not refine the Focus RS. You may have been content with wrongly installed headgaskets and other issues, but I was hoping for them to iron it out.I wasn't, my Focus RS was a blast, it didn't have potential, it was potential realized and it was amazing for the 3 years I had it, but it just wasnt the right car for my life at the moment and that's part of how I wound up in a Stelvio.
I can not oversell how much fun the RS was when you had a chance to push it to its limits, sitting in traffic on a commute with it was frustrating because it just said " come on, go fast, we want to go fast, I know you want to go fast too!"

The headgaskets were pre-emptively recalled and fully handled by the local dealers at Ford's cost and we were provided no cost loaners, as opposed to other manufacturers that have ignored issues until it was too late, I know several people that got replacement engines, also pre-emptively. What's the rest of your complaints list? You may have been content with wrongly installed headgaskets and other issues, but I was hoping for them to iron it out.
