I have had my stelvio in 2 times now for the screen going out. The first time they replaced the ETM and updated all other modules to later software. 2 weeks later it went out again. This time they found multiple lost com with DTC'S. They checked the connector harness in the passenger rear bumper. They unplugged all and put Dialect grease on them and plugged back in the pins to reduce chance of water intrusion. They have cleared out all DTC CODES AND ETM. Every thing seems to be work today. I picked it up this am. But not sure if this is a fix. Has anyone else had this problem. It won't let me upload video so here is a screen shot of it. This one the screen is completely black other videos it is just half the screen.

You may have had an early unit that suffered from the water intrusion on the lot. With the recall that should be fixed.

Thank you all for the quick response. It just gets really annoying . Especially when using the nav. Or even listening to the radio. Just hoping these two things they have done fixes it. I guess we will find out in the near future

I had my harness repaced in bumper. All good until i left my sunroof open on a wet day.( just the tilt feature not wide open) Entire following day dash kept blacking out and rebooting constantly on a 4 hours drive. After an additional day stopped and great again. Over a week. There are definitely issues with water. Lines must not be waterproofed. Back hatch will drip profusely after a car wash. Through seams. No drainage holes.

Oh wow. Well hope yours stays fixed. Hoping mine does as well. It's been a fee days and good this time so far. Last time it took 2 weeks before it acted up again.

Mine went out tonight. I’ve only owned mine for 2 months. I’m really upset about it. I was going to buy a MB AMG or Audi Q7, but I decided to try something different and fun. I am honestly so sad. And disappointed in Alfa Romeo. I feel like I signed up for a problem, when I thought I was giving the under guy a shot. I am a female, but a truw car enthusiast. And I’m very detail oriented. I have to say, there’s a lot of corners that were cut in this vehicle. I feel like I just want to get away from it right now. It’s a sexy, fun car, but it has had serious issues with showing the dash display (hugely important). And the brakes do squeak really bad. You have to wash it constantly to keep the squeak away. Mine is a pretty new car, but it feels like it’s worse that my college daughters 2018 Hyundai I bought her. It’s very disappointing. Sorry not better news!!

So mine is back at the dealership for the 3rd time. Same problem. They have opened a Stars case and have had it for a week today. Tye dealership and Alfa Customer care have been amazing. I love driving my Stelvio but seems it is at the dealership more than in my garage. Hoping for a fix in the near future.

So mine is still doing the same thing with the screen going out. It also has been changing maps from night and day during a sunny day. Alfa customer care has been involved. Twice know I have had a video they ask for. It is so dangerous trying to record the screen going on and out while driving. So at this point it's been in 4 times for same thing. They tell me until I get video of it or they can verify it. There is know more they can do for me. I so frustrated with them the dealer and Alfa care. I took a big chance buying there product and they expect me to risk my life and family's trying to video it happening. This is a on going problem they know about but yet aren't standing behind there product. I'm wishing at this point I would have stayed with BMW or Mercedes. This is very frustrating. So right now were at a stand still with how to fix my problem. My case has been put on hold and I'm expected to produce a video. Oh yea I'm 100 disabled Marine. So it even makes it more dangerous.

Very disappointed in Alfa Care. Not being there for me. So I guess you all should be very careful on your investment they won't stand behind you. When you need them

We are certainly sorry to hear about your ongoing concern and understand your frustration associated. Often times dealers need to reproduce your concern for proper repair procedures. Are there any conditions under which this concern arises? This may assist your dealer in being able to reproduce. You guys did. It was sent up through the chain. I was told that until I have video proof again. That the case is put on hold. That there was nothing more you could do for me. The dealer ship said the same as you guys. Just really let down. I would think you guys would go above and beyond for a person willing to take a chance on your product. I use to feel that way. But it's been month's. A couple new flashes and ecm replaced. And still not working. Just starting to wish I went with another name brand. Very disappointed in Alfa Romeo as a car company. Anyone on the forum having these problems as well.

Mine are Screen in and out. Screen going from night to day on a sunny day. Lift gate not always going all the way up. Squeaky brakes. Heater seats not getting hot just warm. Just alot of things.
