Just bought new tires (28K on ODO), and during inspection the tech showed me how the pads need replacement.

I thought, ok ... I can buy OEM grade pads, but my friends on the Stelvio forum probably have a better recommendation. I'm not a huge fan of pay sky high for the ultimate... but I'm a big fan of value finds. You know, that brake pad company not everyone knows about that has killer product at very reasonable prices... I'm that guy.

I searched but found a ton of junk posts, so I thought WTH, just post a new topic, and see if anyone has any to recommend.

Please advise,

Power Stops worked great for me, Low dust no squeaking, nice linear breaking action.

Rock Auto is going to be the cheapest, Everything has held up great little to no rust going through an entire winter and with ZERO judder unlike the the factory brake pads.

Any idea of the stock OEM pads are ceramic, or mixed ceramic / metalic (It's not metalic because of how little dust it puts out, which I think is overkill for the 2.0, maybe fore the QV, not the 2.0) ?

According to Tire Rack, which has great buyers, the only brand they sell is CENTRIC POSI QUIET BRAKE PADS. Anyone have experience with these ?
