I've never really considered any software mods until I read this:

🙀🎉

My assumption is that the programming and function would work the same on the Stelvio, right?

Any extra steps with SGW cars?
Thanks for this, it is a great option!!
Mazda CX5 had neutral from factory, but not the Alfa. It is great to have it back.
I will have to wait a bit, to do this. I still have remote issues, and I may have to go back to the dealer.

apart from a lot of swearing in Italian, getting your arm cut like you were fighting feral tomcat while connecting SGW it's pretty straight forward.

so in order to do this you need the proxy alignment tool and the MES software on a PC correct? Nothing else?
MES software (I use PC version), OBD adapter, blue/grey adapters and SGW for later cars. can't tell anything about iOS version of MES as never used it.

Shpuncik, the car has to sit on level ground, when the proxy is done?
as I wrote in original post you don't need to run any adaptations after this mod so it doesn't matter if you do it upside down. rumifaizer was a bit too cautious ;) if proxi alignment was successful you're good to go. bear in mind 4.7R1 version has bug and won't finish proxi on ABS unit so either use latest 4.8 or downgrade to 4.6 version.

I took care of the SGW, I have ripped it out of it's place(removed one bolt on the left side), and now it sits nicely behind the little drawer for sunglasses, together with the S/S disabler. ;)
I'm left now, with an extra set of extension cables.

Can you shift it to neutral with the paddles with the car is still moving. lets say like going downhill??
Yes, from either manual mode or auto, pulling both paddles will shift vehicle to neutral. From neutral a pull on the right paddle will move it to D in automatic.
In manual, pulling both paddles both puts it in neutral AND moves the gear shift out of manual position back to auto position.

Well I was hoping someone could perform the process to activate this on my Quad. If you can do it I’ll make it worth your while.
I'll be buying the software in the next few weeks to do this on my Giulia; I'd be more than happy to set you up. We can discuss details privately, but I'll be happy to check in with you when I get the software and obd dongle.
