I mean... sure. If you were in fact defending the dependability of an ‘83 Spyder? That would be cultish. But you couldn’t sell something that dodgy today. All cars in the 70s/80s/90s were pretty unreliable.
I had both 1988, 1989 Milano Verdes......reliability wasn't all that bad , but they both ate a little olio.Yeah they were. I had an 1982 GTV6 Balloco SE back then and I can't wait for the new one.
I had a '95 164 LS, sold it around 55k miles....and pretty much the same. I did the clutch right near the end, other than that it was just basic service.My 1993 164 was VERY reliable for 9+ yrs. Only had to repair the ZF tranny seals at 60K. So it was german unreliability!
