Hi MNTurny,I'm about 2 weeks into my 2021 QV experience after patiently waiting for delivery over the last 6 months. I feel fortunate that they built it because I know most orders for 2021s were cancelled by the factory after March, but mine showed up as a sold order so it was fulfilled. I also have seats and an exterior color that I don't think are offered on the 2022's (red stitching and Trofeo White). I've been following this forum for quite a few months as I was trying to make the decision on whether or not to pull the trigger. I appreciate all of the discussions and have found it to be a great resource, so thanks to all of the contributors.
Great experience so far, but one strange experience this morning. For the first few miles, the brakes were not disengaging for about 1-2 seconds after I took my foot off the pedal. I was in 'D' mode, so even without giving it any gas, the idle would fight the brakes, which would squeak loudly before ultimately releasing. I've had some squeaking at the beginning of most of my driving sessions, but was kind of expecting that based on what I had read in previous posts. Today was the first time I felt like there was an actual delay in release though.
I mostly drive in manual mode and downshift a lot to avoid using the brakes too much, so maybe I need to hit them a little harder to get them set or something? Appreciate any insight.
