I was sooooo happy with my 2019 Stelvio, a beautiful car, drove like a dream until 6 months in when it started making strange clicking noises, never audible to the service reps when I took it in, 7 months in when I had to have it towed the first of 4 times because it wouldn't start. the car began having an electrical "seizure" lights flashing, fault messages blinking etc. when the start button was pushed, would turn over and then refusing to crank after a few minutes. Each time I took it into the dealership the battery was replaced and no fault was identified, until the last time that it was towed. They called me in to pick it up and discovered that THEY couldn't crank the car ( something about the car not turning off properly). That was 4.5 months ago .The part that was required was finally received a week ago after many super-helpful email messages from Alfa Romeo stating that the part would be shipped as soon as it was available. The car has been out of service for nearly 6 months in total and was approved by buyback by Alfa Romeo on February 2 according to the statutes of my state. Has this happened? No. Can anyone help me at FAC? No, because according to Alfa PREMIUM Care, that part of the business is not consumer-facing. Now have to waste time with litigation/arbitration over what should be so simple. Clearly not premium service

Packed a lot of overlapping stuff in this post. Clarify please. My Quad was OOS for nearly 8nmonths with part issues but now that I have her back, I wouldn't dream of selling her. Sounds loike you should have it fixed by now...

Hi the car had electrical failures that the dealership couldn't diagnose because the fault killed the battery, and they couldn't perform diagnostics with the electrical system offline. They would replace the battery, according to warranty, and the car again performed perfectly until the next time I tried to crank the car and the electrical "seizure" and battery death occurred. I (the car was driven daily). After repeating this cycle 3 times, the fault occurred at the dealership and it was decided that the onboard computer ( probably not the right term) needed to be replaced and the part was not available. Alfa Romeo approved buyback ( according to an email from Alfa Premium Care) of the vehicle 2 months ago and the dealership requested return of the loaner car I had been using. Since that time I have been in limbo. Alfa Premium Care cannot me or provide contact information for the part of the company that handles this issue, nor will they speak with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. I was actually planning to buy another Stelvio, as I said in the last post, I loved driving the car, and actually have a car on hold but I want this issue settled 1st. The car was left at the dealership December 2, its now March 18th and no end in sight. Hope this clarifies

. The car is actually a 2021 problems began June 2022, currently has 1030 miles. I am the original owner.
I don't understand how you made such a huge error in your first post, if that's the case.

Regardless, pull up your state's Lemon Law, and follow EVERYTHING to the Tee.
Every single step.

If you don't already have 4 visits for the same problem, or xx number of days out of service for the same problem, get it there.
If you haven't sent a "Last Chance" letter to the Manufacturer, DO IT.

And file the actual lawsuit.

Right now, the manufacturer is hoping that they can stall you long enough that your 2 year statute expires, and you are getting dangerously close to that time limit.
Then, they won't have to do anything.

Hire the lawyer.
It shouldn't cost you anything out of pocket.
And, FCA/Stellantis will stop screwing you over.

Thanks, I do have a lawyer filing paperwork. I did not know I needed to file an actual suit within the timeframe.
