Hi all, started my 19 QV this morning and had to go and fetch something before driving away. Noticed this loud ticking from the engine and knocking sound from the exhaust. Haven’t been aware of this before but usually don’t exit once started up. Noise had disappeared when I returned from drive. Car has travelled 35,000 k serviced 2k ago. Normal or irregular? Cheers. Yup. Anything different? Perhaps colder outside or warmer? I've noticed it's always there but depending on temperature and how aware you are, it's louder. If you don't hear excessive knocking coming out of the engine, you're fine. Knocking is fairly normal on cold starts but should go away in under 60sec. I believe '20+ QV have a change to eliminate this issue.
