Good evening chaps, is there any step by step tutorial of how to remove the rear skid plate on the stelvio? I removed the 10 hex bolts underneath along with the lower lip but I am stuck with all those tabs! Is there any particular order I should follow? Do I have to simply push those tabs out? The challenging part are the 3 on the corners with restricted access! Any photos would really help guys! Cheers

Thanks for the photo, I was also able to find one to get the idea of the clips, so practically with a screwdriver at a 45 degree angle you press those down and push? you car lifted up when you removed the skid plate? Except the lower black lip that is removed when you undo the bolts, did you remove anything else? I don’t have good clearance on the 3 lower tabs each side so not sure how a screwdriver will fit it! I was thinking maybe removing the side undertray protection trims would help…

I replaced mine today after a previous failed atempt to remove it earlier. The clips seem near impossible to push through with a screw driver or panel removal tools. I ended up using a heat gun and clips soften enough push through with ease. At the end I got a little inpatient and may have heated the area too long and ripped part of the panel holding the clips. A little super glue and tape and I was back in business.

this is exactly what I want to avoid….on my 1 week old car :) seems the only safe way is to take off the rear bumper and unclip those….I will be going to the dealership to do that for me!
