I got one. $12 on eBay. Thin metal with adhesive on the inside, fit perfectly over the black button. The color seems to be a half shade lighter than in the photo.

My Stelvio has black interior so the red button perks up the inside; I like it and would recommend it.

Oh, well, I bought one from the same Ebay vendor but mine had almost like a soft, red metallic-like sheen. Not really, thrilled, so I haven't put it on.
Someone in this forum got the authentic red start/stop installed at his Alfa Dealership...I need to read up on the cost and install experience.

I bought one, it's an anno alum piece well made, not sure I'll ever mount it tho.
I’ve got one as well. I’m on the fence on whether to install it. It is a nice quality product made in aluminium but as it is not transparent it will not illuminate as the original does.

Good point, hadn't even considered illumination. Maybe I might change the whole switch out after all.

I just did a dry test (placing in situ but not gluing it) and I don’t recommend this. It is sitting ON the original starter button not covering it and it looks terrible. It’s going in the bin...
Is the white print carved out and filled with ink or is it printed right over the button? It will most likely wear off with usage over time and look real ugly.

just printed directly on it, so yes highly likely it would wear out

The genuine red button is not pricey but it looks like you need to take apart the steering wheel for the install.

somewhere on here I posted a link with step by step install that came from teh giulia forum, think it was done by eurocompulsion. Not too terribly hard. link to the diy vid. http://www.stelvioforum.com/forum/11-interior/3425-diy-install-red-start-button-giulia-forum.html

It didn't look too hard but I'm not really comfortable messing about with the airbag...

yeah that air bag thing makes me nervous too ... it looks simple enough but will it void the warranty if you do it and not the dealer??
I hope more of these aftermarket shops start making parts for the Stelvio sooner than later.

If you replace the button assembly, yes, it could void the warranty but only on the button assembly. The red button doesn't mean enough to me to hassle with the steering wheel. Looks great though.

I installed mine last weekend. The new button is direct OEM, no way it voids the warranty, but like you said, if the button itself fails, that won't be covered under warranty. It's easy enough to swap in the old button if there is a problem.
Bought brand new QF steering wheel from europe, (waiting to arrive) that has carbon/alcantara with red stitching (which is matching my red interior), comes with red button. Once i get it, I'll swap out steering wheel .
The service adviser at my dealership contacted me today and told me that he can order in the red button and have it installed into my Ti when it arrives for $160 CDN. For the reasonable price I'd rather have the dealer take care of it.

Same here. I ordered mine last week when I was contacted.
Trying to see if I can do the same with the items in the attachment. Don’t really care about the rubber mats but the cf replacement for the shifter, light kit and gas cap would nice to have when I take the car.

Let us know how that works out, as I am not sure what part of the world you are located.
