I just spoke with a dealer technician who told me how to reset the oil change interval without necessarily going to an Alfa dealer. He said to press the start button twice without turning on the engine, then stomping on the brake pedal three times. Does this make sense to anyone?
I was able to reset one of the counters but not both with the brake pedal 6 stomps method at my first change. Funny I cant get it to do it again. And standard scan tool wont reset it either. Basically the dealer has the correct software to do it.
That said im driving mine with the change oil indication lighting up everytime it restarts itself. I did the old school method and wrote the mileage on a sticker and put it under the hood. Love the car but this kind of thing just fries me.
