We have included detailed dyno graphs from tests that have been performed by independent dyno tuning facilities. The charts clearly show rated power at the wheels (wheel power is lower than engine power that the factory shows) with identical upgrades (with and without the new MAXPower Pro ECM). Drivetrain loss is estimated between 15-20% depending on the equipment type and facilities used for testing. To make comparisons fair, we used the same vehicles, at the same dyno, during the same weather conditions and at the same engine temps - as all these factors can make a big difference in results.

Hi everyone,

My name's Eric. I have more of a presence on the Giuliaforum (though most of a presence in-house here in Austin).

We've had a bit of a discussion on this product on the Giulia forum that's allowed us to answer some questions. I have to assume it'll keep growing over the next couple weeks as more installs wrap up.

I'd like to share a link over this way, as I've answered a lot of questions on that thread - so, for additional information or feedback at this time, I'd encourage anyone even remotely interested to have a look in that direction as well.

Giuliaforums link!

Ideally, I'd like to create an open dialogue here on how and why this little box may be a good fit for you and your Stelvio. Happy to answer any questions that the community here may have.

getting a Service Engine light and system going into N mode? Has happened 3x now. I spoke to Eric and he said when it happens to get the codes. If I disconnect the battery and put the bypass in and drive it for a few miles then reconnect the MaxPower Pro it works fine for about 50 miles then Service Engine light comes back on. Going to get the codes read today. Anyone else having this issue?

I brought it to Auto Zone and no codes came up. Eric sent me a return label to swap it out and of course it hasn't happened again. So I'm going to hold off returning it until it happens again. I can't live without the MaxPower Pro!! lol

Problems with MAXPower PRO ECM

Installed MAXPower PRO ECM and Bluetooth Go-Pedal about 6 weeks ago with immediate performance improvements. However, on Mother's Day while showing my younger brother how impressive the vehicle performs, it suddenly went from D to N mode and ETC and Start/Stop failure warning lights appeared. I inserted the bypass plug on the MAXPower PRO ECM and both lights disappeared, but, of course, so has my extra horses and torque, which is not good. The Go-Pedal has continued to perform without any warning lights or issues.

I contacted Madness Autoworks and I am waiting for a return authorization label to obtain a replacement unit.

Just wanted you to know that you are not alone with ECM issues, which can't be predicted, but tolerable as long as Madness Autoworks stands by their warranty claims and resolves the problem.

Hi EuroDok.

Pretty sure I spoke to you when you called in a couple weeks back. I recorded your issue in our Technical Error log. I think we were looking for OBD trouble codes generated, so that we could isolate the exact issue at hand as well...

Can you shoot me a quick email or DM with your name/order ID#? The shipping department does their fair share of processing incoming and outgoing and I just want to personally make sure this gets resolved. Thanks!

The MAXPower Pro features completely new, next-generation hardware with exclusive, all-new proprietary mapping that is designed to delivery significant power gains and outperform the competition.

MAXPower Pro modules feature the latest generation 64-bit processor along with proprietary software to deliver performance gains where it counts.

Can the MAXPower Pro module be interchanged from the 2019 Guilia to a 2018 Stelvio?
Thanks
Hello Stealdesk,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Provided that both the Giulia and the Stelvio are the 2.0L models then yes, the MAXPower Pro can be interchanged between the two.

If there is anything else we can do to help you, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Hello KZquad,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately we don't have the charts for the Quadrifoglio models.

Over on the Giulia forums someone has posted their dyno runs with the MAXPower PRO on their Quadrifoglio.

The All New Alfa Romeo Giulia MAXPower PRO Engine...

That information is a little more anecdotal as the chart is a Giulia not a Stelvio, but does show some idea of how the 2.9L responds to the MAXPower.
