But this Varta is crap?
Replace it just to prevent any issues?

Not all Varta batteries are crap. Yes the EFB one which comes with the car from factory is not the best and I replaced it with AGM Varta to prevent eventual troubles.So far so good.My car is 2020 and all cars here , even those from 2021 are coming with the same EFB Varta. Never heard of AGM from the factory, at least here.

I have the Varta AGM 95Ah. Replaced the stock battery almost immediately after had the car from dealer. 8 months of use now and no problems at all. 2-3 times conditioned and charged, just in case with CTEK MSX10 , when not driving for more than 1-2 weeks. If I remember correctly Bosch and Varta AGM batteries are made in the same factory. I was in the same dilemma, but took the Varta, because the sales man said he prefers them. I don't think there will be significant difference. The Varta was just little more cash.

If bought the car new, almost 100% you have EFB. If not, it must be written on the battery somewhere.
