Last night I was greeted with 3 warning lights:

1. Forward Collision Warning (FCW) System Failure
2. Right Turn Signal Failure (might not be the exact message - can't find in manual)
3. Brake Signal Failure (might not be the exact message - can't find in manual)

I turned the car off and back on. Same thing. I checked the turn signal. While it was blinking fast in the car, they all seemed fine outside. Brake Signals seemed fine too. Didn't want to check the status of the forward collision system :smile

Later in the night, I started her up again and the only remaining warning was the Forward Collision one. About an hour later, that one cleared itself too.

I'm thinking of chalking it up to a momentary glitch that hopefully never happens again. Anyone else experience something similar?

I have had issues with the FCW light coming on, but I think it was from snow covering the camera or something. I’ve also had a few things seem to work differently depending on circumstances; like if I back into a parking space, occasionally, when I shift into park, the warning beeper will actually go off, like it should.

I like the FCW, so if that is working and continues to work without the light coming on, great, but if it happens again, I’d stop by the dealer. If all goes well, keep enjoying the ride and definitely chalk it up to break in period anomalies.

I recall another post several months go, similar warnings attributed to ice buildup on the front of the car combined with possible low battery charge. IIRC they charged the battery to 100%, cleared the snow and ice, problem didn't return.

This? You can see the grill on Stella was covered with the frozen slush in bad weather. Cannot speak for the turn signal or brake warning.

I've had that one before with this snowy last month in NJ and the sensors covered just like that. But this one was different. Screen actually said failure and had a different icon. I should have taken a picture but it's in the manual worded exactly like I posted above.

Was fine all day today. May still be because of the weather. Yesterday morning was just after another snowstorm and the highways were wet and salty. Can't wait until I can drive this in warm sunshine.

I had the same 3 warning lights come on after driving several hours from TX to NM. The dealer's checking it out with the recalls and a couple other things. Certainly not a snow/ice situation here! Maybe a giant bug crashed into the sensors.

Hi there, I am leasing a 2018 Stelvio Sport ti and I have been dealing with this exact same issue for several times.
Took the car in a couple weeks ago but the dealer could not replicate the problem and was unable to find any message on the onboard diagnostic.
Are you still having this problem?

Thankfully this problem has gone away. Happened twice in the first 3-4 months. Second time was while driving with the AC on for a long time in traffic in a not-so-great area with the family - that was not so fun lol. Since then its never happened (over a year now). I'm thinking it might have been a battery issue but I still have the same battery today so who knows.

Same issues as OP. Collision avoidance off warning. Brake light out warning. My wife finished walking in front of the Stelio as I simultaneously hit the brake and moved into drive. My thoughts are the system got confused

Like others, all of the warnings reset after a few cycles of start and stop. Thank God. It would have been my first disappointment with this fabulous vehicle

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I've seen it too. Not the collision warning, but some definite random stuff. A few times it was a specific light out. When I put the blinker on, it blinked fast, and when I looked, the light was actually out. Drove it to the store, and when I came back out and started it, the warning was gone. Nothing has stayed on for long, and it's been 4-5 times tops and then cleared. Gremlins I tell you.

I had the exact same problem over Thanksgiving weekend. Although the warnings came on, the wife walked around the Stelvio and all was working. After about 3 start ups, the warnings went away. I thought the audio on the radio didn't sound right and maybe an attempted remote update by Sirius caused a hiccup. Brought the car to the dealer who checked out the radio and could not confirm the warnings, but did say there was a radio update and installed it. No problems since.
