Nice! Let us know if you decide to get an extended warranty before your factory one expires yet how much you pay for it!
Do yourself a favor and get rid of those garbage Pirellis. Well you won't have a choice but to replace them soon since you're lucky if you get 15K miles out of them. My opinion but I sold mine right away. Could not stand the how they drove.
Yea I'm not a big Pirelli fan.

Pirelli is partly owned by the Chinese and they don’t make good tires. Another Italian company that sold out. Conti and Michelin are worth the extra $$ in my opinion. I’ve had great luck and really good customer care from conti. We run continuous dws on the stelvio, x7 and even our fiat 500. They will be on my grecale to.

these two companies offer towing roadside assistance, the only 2 that do. Had a flat w the x7/ and they towed to closest discount tire bit tow up to 200 miles! Excellent service.

I picked the Pirelli because of the objective testing of Touring tires for premium SUVs that TireRack recently did using a 2023 Stelvio. Don’t really care who owns the company.

Been running DWS on my ‘21 Q4 Sport Ti since shortly after the
OE got greasy. DWS excellent tire never achieved mileage claims (found same on Michelin) but so what? You got the best tire money can buy for the job.

Tires are like shoes. Everyone wants a different fit and feel. if you buy shoes that are cheap, or very expensive and they hurt, you’ll be reminded of your choice every step you take. Same is true for tires.

Roll what you like and take the long way home.

I have DWS on my GTi. I’m a Michelin and Continental guy myself, however when it comes to All Season Tires, I think that only Falken comes with the correct spec for the QV. I’ve read great reviews about them.

I do seasonal swaps every year. Michelin CrossClimate2's. Last summer Michelin Latitude Sport 3's which I'm actually selling.
I also do seasonal swap, I've been using Pirelli Scorpion Winters for the past 5 years (first on a Volvo V90 now on the QV (different wheels though). i've been very happy with them, now that they're completely worn out, I'll be giving Bridgeton Blizzaks a try next winter.
Why are you selling the Michellins? I'll be needing new summer rubber before the warm season is over.

I'm moving and don't have a place to store them. Will not do the swap and leave the CrossClimate2's on this year. They are posted in the classified section.

that is a fair price. Like you said peace of mind and making sure there are no excuses should you have to use the warranty for something related to engine.
Two things I recently noticed. Im sure they are normal but figured Id ask. I washed the car yesterday and when I moved it up to dry it, the brakes vibrated like I was going over rails. I figured they did that because they were wet, but figured Id ask.

Additionally, when turning into or out of the driveway or onto some streets, I feel like the front passenger rubs. I have the Pirelli summer tires that came with the car so not sure why they would rub. I realized it more today with the temperatures in the 50s. Is this normal?

The wet brakes shutter for a bit until they are dried or pumped for a bit. I can't speak for the Pirellis much because I only had them for a short time, but summer tires don't do well in lower temps.
I’ve read that the Giulia and Stelvio QV tend to make a noise as if the wheel is rubbing when you turn the wheel all the way or are close to turning it. Hadn’t noticed it on mine until today, so I was wondering if it was a suspension issue or something similar f that sort.

Yea, kinda figured it was that. Also read that it happens more with summer tires in the cold, so it makes sense. Some people seem to have solved the issue by changing to a different brand of tires. I don’t mind it as long as I know it’s not hurting the car.

Thanks

Just purchased the Autel AutoLink AL319 code reader for the SQV. It was only $25 and highly recommended by YouTuber Autofanatic that has had 4 GQVs already. He has a demo of resetting a misfire code on his ‘22QV, so if it works for his ‘22 it should work for my ‘21.
Hopefully I will never need it, but better safe than sorry. Will just keep it in the car just in case.
