I'm planning to get the multiecuscan software for DIY and just found this on Google search.

Has anyone purchased it from Ali express? Also I looked at alfissimo website, they charging for international shipping here to Canada. So someone please provide links for SGW bypass adapters and multiecuscan software.
This is what I found for SGW bypass on Amazon

Software versions all seem to be very old, and so probably not official version(s)..... :(
Official latest version from the MES site is 5.3 ....

This is probably a simple cracked version of MES. It could be okay, but it could be unstable as well. Long time ago I used cracked FES (the predecessor of MES) for a short time before I bought it, and it was very unstable.
So if you accept an advice, then buy:
  • legal MES
  • a cable set (for Stelvio you'll need only the gray and blue, I have a full set) this you can buy from anywhere (aliexpress, ebay, etc.)
  • ELM327, a cheap one from aliexpress can be good, but sometimes does not work correctly, so it is better to buy it from a legal source. My old one went wrong a few weeks ago, I've ordered a new one from here: iDiagnostics
  • the SWG bypass is needed from MY2018 (I don't know exactly when was the change)

an example for SWG bypass: SGW bypass FCA

Do I also need SGW Bypass extension cables? Here's the list of things required:
1. Multiesuscan software (website)
2. SGW dongle (SGW Bypass Dongle 8Pin+12Pin,2018+ FCA Vehicles OBD Diagnosis Security Gateway Module Green Socket, Code Readers & Scan Tools - Amazon Canada )
3. SGW extension cables (SGW Bypass Gateway Diagnostic Extension Cable for FCA Cars Since 2018, Code Readers & Scan Tools - Amazon Canada)
4. OBD2 (ELM327 Scanner OBD2 USB Adapter for Windows, ELMconfig FoCCCus Diagnostic Scan Tool with MS-Can/HS-Can Switch for Ford Lincoln Mazda Mercury Series Vehicles, Code Readers & Scan Tools - Amazon Canada )

Sorry just making sure, am I missing anything here or is that all i need ?

I highly recommend the extension cables. The location of the gateway module is terrible and if you want to remove the bypass for any reason (putting the gateway module back in, or to temporarily use the bypass on another car), the extensions allow you to move the bypass to a much better location. I have mine behind the compartment on the left side of the steering column, so I can access it by just removing a torx screw.

Stop buying junk from Aliexpress or alibaba! In the end you are not supporting the guys who actually make the real deal. Your not supporting Alfa guys. Your supporting stolen product or software. Most of it made very low quality. You can go ahead and buy it anyway but very soon you will have to buy it again. Buy quality!! Buy from Alfa vendors!

I saw your video recently and then I looked into the manufacturing year of my stelvio. It is (November 2017) and based on your and other helpful guys my car doesn't need a SGW bypass. So at this point only Multiecuscan and OBD2 is needed for me.
