Hi,

I have a TI 2020 with the base stereo.
Does anyone know what is exactly fitted? What speakers, power etc?
What is the easiest upgrade to this system? Please share links if you have!

Thanks,
Jens

My 2022 Stelvio came with the base system which was just that ‘basic’. You do not need to spend a lot of money to make this system sound great.
I wanted the HK speakers on the doors. So I bought the grilles from Ebay. I bought new speakers from Amazon.
The front HK grilles are easy to place because the circle for the speaker is on the back of the door panel. Its just not cut out. I used a dremel and it worked easily. I then found that there was no center speaker on the dash and also no speakers in my C-Pillars. If you shine a light in the C-Pillar speaker trim just above your rear seat back, there either there or not. I added mids to the C-Pillars and Dash Center. I also added three 8 inch powered subs. 1 in the rear where the factory one should go (mine didn’t have it). I ordered the factory trim left drivers side from ebay and it now looks stock. I then added one powered sub under each front seat. I used all Infinity by Harman speakers. For the subs I used a Kicker in the rear and went with the less expensive SSL LOPRO’s for the front seats. Best of all I did not need to add any additional amp. The factory system easily handles the added speakers and the subs are powered so they have built in amps.

Which underseat sub did you install @1Troy the SSL loPro?? I just read you post properly and it appears they don't need a separate amp as they are active/powered. So how did you link the sub to the factory head unit and set the cross over frequency? I am planning on installing a Match M5.4 DSP amp with factory speakers. I have the standard 4+4 door speakers (non HK). The amp is plug and play it appears with PP ISO 1 and PP - PAC 88 adaptors. The amp has a sub out by the looks of it but limited to 90W in mid power mode. Any suggestions on how to connect an underseat sub to enhance sound stage? I don't want a powerful sub even a low power one is good enough to improve the sound so any suggestions are welcome. Thanks
