Do you have anything loose in your door pockets?

I thought the same thing for the same reason.. then I took a couple paper receipts out of the hole in the door armrest grabbed to close the door.

It went away. Just thought worth mentioning maybe.

Change does it too sounds different but, right volume and frequency from the sound source.

Otherwise check eBay, looks like $100-150 ea for the mid woofers and $100 for a pair of tweeters. Depending on the seller.

 

I had the same issue. There was some play around the window switch area inside the driver's door panel. The dealer added some sound insulation tape around it and it's mostly gone but if I crank the bass up you can still hear it just slightly.

I would find it hard to believe that it would be the speakers themselves. The HK system is pretty good. If you look at my other post I added a 2000W amp and 3 woofers. I jack the volume up to 38 and play all types of music VERY LOUD and the stock speakers handle it just fine. I would look for anything in the door pockets or even the speaker grill itself coming loose.

 

I just had a tweeter replaced by the dealer last week at the car's first service.
Cost was free.
