I'm Hungarian from Transylvania(Romania). That is my Last name.
I don't have experience with th e18-19' models, but I believe that the new stereo is haster as well.
You don't want to start the sound, when you are a block away, after you started the car. That is, how is my Kenwood nav($1200 system).

I just purchased a new Stelvio Quad from Fiat/Alfa of Strongsville, Ohio.
I worked with JT and Mike, got a great price of $20k off MSRP and they delivered to my door in Kansas with no shipping charge. The transaction was smooth and communication great.

So if you look at this one, what do you think, that would be a good price to offer for it?

Well, as I mentioned before, I live 30 min from that dealer and when I started nego there and presented as a serious buyer last Oct, their written offer to me was a little north of 10k off MSRP as I recall. Ended up buying my 19 at the Youngstown AR dealer about an hour away b/c they had my preferred color combo (ext/int/calipers) for a bit more off (about 22% off MSRP in the end---leveraging the Strongsville offer of course) including incentives. There is even a 3rd dealer about 40 min north of Strongsville (south end of Cleveland)----very unusual I think---3 AR dealers in a one hour triangle of sorts. Not sure how hot the '20s are selling right now, but just checked and Strongsville has 62 Selvios and 65 Giulias on the lot. That is a lot, and should tell you that they are either maintaining their high volume reputation (#1 in Ohio and the region is what they told me) or sales are really slow and they are backed up (doubtful, but possible). Either way, it seems they are quite happy to move cars and deal.

I think starting with 11-12k off and see what they counter with. But remember, someone is paying for the shipping to you.....

Good luck and let us know if you seal the deal---love those wheels on the red body BTW.

Somebody IS going to pay for shipping. It's like gravity, or taxes---not going away. So, while they may say they will ship for free, that cost that they incur will affect their price floor for the car, in some way.

Exactly!! I got it from Ohio, and got the dealer to ship it to me for free \m/
I live in Ohio in the Cincinnati area and just started looking for a 2020 Stelvio. What dealer did you buy you Alfa from and what discount can I expect? Currently, there seems to be many Stelvio's available on the area lots. I'm in no hurry... would it pay to wait for the 2021 to arrive and then purchase a 2020?

Check out Jake Sweeney Alfa in Florence KY. Bought my 2015 4C from them and they had some great pricing. 12 hours from me but not too far from cincinatti. If you are not in a hurry, should pay off to wait for the right discount. But would expect roughly 10k off sticker.

Hi Ed. As in my earlier email, contact JT from Fiat/Alfa of Strongsville, Ohio. I purchased a 2019 SQuad from them and have no regrets. The virous has killed dealer sales particularly at high volume dealers. New 2019s now are best deal. Wait till next year and 2020s may have great deals, some good deals are already out there on 2020s. How the next wave of virous and the election will affect sales is a crap shoot now.

I'm going to Jake Sweeney North Cincinnati tomorrow and I obtained so much from this forum. I have a 2017 Honda Ridgeline with 25650 miles to sell, either trade or sell on my own. I have no problem buying further ie. from Strongville (3 hour drive). I did find a car on the Strongville website that I'm interested in and may give JT a call.

I test drove a 2020 Stelvio today and enjoyed the drive. Wasn't crazy when I came to a red light or stop sign and the engine seemed to turn off. When we started talking price, it was $5000 off sticker and I mentioned the 10K to 12.5K discounts. Any proof... no, just what I read on Alfa forum's. Let me check with my manager and the salesman came back with "I can do $6K to 8K off depending of the vehicle. If you can find a 2019, you may get 10K off.

I did receive my Ridgeline title today, so I'm good to sell it.

You can, and will, do better than that. Of course the salesman is going to say stuff like that on your initial chat about price. They will never (or very rarely) show their best deal during the first chat. The tune changes when you walk back in with your truck title and let them know you are ready to buy right then. Probably the only way you will ever know what their real floor is to politely walk out and tell them you are going to another dealer. I played two dealers against each other when I got mine a year ago (Strongsville vs. Youngstown, OH)---a 2019 near the end of 2019. Got 11k off, and some on this board did better than that. You are in a similar position now. Caveat: COVID did throw a wrench into the market. So, 2020s near the end of 2020 may be a tougher nego, not sure---not able to compare 2020's inventory now with last years' 2019s at about the same time of year. Plus, don't have a good feel on timing and volume of 2021s due in. Just supply and demand, normal econ 101 stuff. When you present as a "today" buyer, they will not want to let you go out that door without a new Stelvio. And if they do, no worries. You probably just found their price floor. You can always change your mind and go back later. But do yourself a favor and shop another dealer first. So, while you can and will do better than what the salesman told you on your test drive, the bottom line---get it with the price you are happy with, then just drive. There is a lot of fun to be had on the other side of the deal, trust me (us). Good luck and please post a pic when you get one.

Alfa offers some cash deals right now($1250-2500). This amount on top of a $10-12k off msrp, it would be a nice end price. I'm wondering, if these incentives will go over 2021, for the 2020 models?
I'm planning to buy one, around end of January, beginning of February.

Leased Ti Sport about 10 days ago. Deals are there. 20-25% discount is doable, maybe more if you bargain hard. My car had MSRP of $52,945 and I got it for around $40.5K. Dealt with Alfa romeo of Van Nuys. They claim to be the largest dealership in the world and I believe them. Between what's in stock and what's coming they will have over 300 Stelvios. I think worth a shot.

Thanks for that. Most likely I will buy from them. I don't really see on, that I really like, so most likely as 2020s are getting less and less I will have to make some compromises. I already see, that Alfa has dropped one of their incentives, now only $1500 cash off from a Ti. Most likely, I will have to go with a Base. That is mostly what they have.

You're correct. There are over 200 Stelvios coming in and all are base. I asked sales manager about it and he said that he had grabbed everything factory was willing to ship. At this point they are at the mercy of the manufacturer. I initially planned to wait till the end of the year; but then I realized that all 2020 Ti sports will be gone. Same situation with other dealers. Out of curiosity I checked Glendale. 10 days ago they had 22 Ti sports; 2 days ago it was down to 6.
These discounts definitely include both, dealers' discounts and manufacturer's rebates. Since it's December, those might have changed. Your best chance just contact the dealership. Ask for Jonathan Olvera. He's a great guy.
