I’m not sure why the OP thinks he’ll get 20,000+ miles from an ultra performance tire based on his previous experience and reviews on TireRack, but good luck to him. Personally on my performance vehicles I focus on tire performance, tire life is secondary. If I wanted economy I’d have bought a Rogue....

He never said anything about economy at all. PZeros are substandard tires and they are not the tire that Alfa should have gone with. Longevity has as much to do with tire choice as performance for many owners. I won't say I need a tire to go 20k, but definitely more than these POS Pirellis. I've never owned a set of Pirellis that I have liked.

I put Michelins on my Giulia QV and they were great. I went one size wider on the rears and it was perfect. I'll be installing a set of new tires shortly even though the Pirelli's are almost new. The dealership I purchased the Stelvio QV from installed new fronts and they only have a few hundred on them. Just not a Pirelli fan.

You are correct in that performance is key, but I want a performance tire that will last for at least 12k miles. Michelin will. Pirelli-not so much.

I want to clarify

I want to clarify feom my previous response that for some the PZero's work great for them. By all means if you have deep pockets and can afford to replace tires two or three times a year, then good on you. If you're driving a 911 GTS or Turbo, and you have a Quadrifoglio as well, then you are on another level that I and many can't relate to.

I do not like Pirelli and would rather have a something that will last longer. Plus they are so Fling overpriced. Just not worth it. But hey, you buy what you like, and that's OK with me. Happy Driving.
